I booked a car through drivexotic.com and appreciated that the insurance options were easy to understand. I went with the extra coverage just for peace of mind. Nothing felt pushy, and the whole process was straightforward.
"Staff was fine, but could’ve been better"
The staff were polite enough, so I can’t really complain too much. It just felt like they were kind of rushing through everything, and some of the answers weren’t as clear as I would’ve liked. Compared to other places I’ve been, it just felt like... I don’t know, a little less helpful overall.

"Pretty bad issue handling tbh"
Had an issue with my booking and support just kinda bounced me around from person to person. It took way too long, and in the end nothing really got fixed. felt like once they had my money, they didnt care anymore. Really frustrating experince...

"Fun drive, but the pickup felt a bit hurried"
The car itself was really fun to drive, so that part was great. Pickup was kind of rushed though, like I didn’t really have much time to settle in or ask a couple things. Not a huge deal, just wish that part had felt a little less hurried...
"Really helpful safety talk before driving"
I did the safety briefing at drivexotic and it was really good. The guy went over the rules clearly, explained what to do once I was in the car, and pointed out when to slow down. I felt a lot less nervous afterward. The only thing was that it felt a little rushed near the end, but overall it was really helpful.

"I rented a Huracan for the weekend..."
I rented a Huracan for the weekend, it was still a blast. The speed and sound were exactly what you’d hope for, and it definitely felt special to drive around. That said, for what it costs, I expected everything to feel a little more dialed in.
Pickup was easy enough, but the brakes felt a bit worn and the tires didn’t seem as fresh as they should’ve been. I still enjoyed the experience, but value-wise, it didn’t feel quite as premium or sharp as I was hoping.

"Pickup and drop-off really need to be better organized"
The whole pickup and drop-off process was way more stressful than it needed to be. Pickup took too long and wasn’t very clear, and dropping the car off felt just as disorganized. I get that things can get busy, but basic directions and a smoother process should be expected. The staff didn’t explain much, so I was left guessing most of the time. After that experience, I probably wouldn’t use DriveXotic again

"Fun ride, but kinda pricey"
The car itself was really fun and the booking process was fine, no big issues there. But it ended up feeling way too expensive for what it was. The extra fees added up quick, and by the end I was just like… ehh not sure the value was really there. Glad I tried it once, but I probably wouldn’t spend that much on it again.

Trying to book was such a headache. The site kept glitching over and over, and after going through the whole process, my reservation still never went through. I was already feeling mentally drained by the time I gave up.

"I had to cancel my booking, and..."
I had to cancel my booking, and to be fair, it did go through without any major drama. Support got back to me and handled it fine, so I can’t really complain too much. That said, the cancellation rules felt a little strict, especially around the timing. It worked out in my case, but I’m not sure it would feel as reasonable if you needed a bit more flexibility.

I did get my refund, it just took a few days to come through. Compared to some other places where I’ve had refunds show up almost right away, this felt a bit slower, but in the end everything worked out fine

"Delivery was nowhere near the promised time"
They said the delivery would arrive at a certain time, but that definitely didn’t happen. It showed up way too late, and it was frustrating waiting around after being told one thing and getting something completely different.

"Wish the pricing had been clearer from the start"
The cars looked really nice, and I was genuinely excited to browse, but the pricing left me feeling frustrated. I had to click around a lot and still wasn’t totally sure what I’d actually end up paying. It would’ve felt a lot better if the extra costs were shown earlier instead of making me dig for them. Great selection, but the upfront pricing really needs work

The car was really clean, like inside and out, which I wasn’t totally expecting. It drove perfectly too. Just overall in better shape than I had in my head, so yeah, really happy with it.

They got back to me quickly most of the time, which I appreciated. There was one reply that came a little later than expected, but it wasn’t a big deal. Compared to some past experiences I’ve had where I had to keep following up, their communication was clear and easy overall.

"Deposit took a little longer than I expected"
Booking itself was straightforward, so no major complaints there. The part that threw me off a bit was the deposit, because they took it right away, which I expected, but I guess I assumed the refund would come back just as quickly once everything was finished. It wasn’t super clear to me how long that part was supposed to take, so I kept checking my account and wondering if I’d missed something or if there was another step I was supposed to do.
I did get the deposit back in the end, so it wasn’t a huge problem or anything dramatic. I just had to follow up and then wait a few extra days, which is fine if you know that’s how it works, but it would’ve been nice if they explained the timing more clearly upfront. Overall the experience was okay, just a little more confusing than it needed to be.
